Sydney, this was my $110 solution for the next 18 months, and it uses an existing practice cage.

that's more my style

since everyone's showing theirs I'll show mine...

I've got a (Professional) cage there surrounded by my own custom built concoction which is an aluminum weight cage that uses a battery mount in back. The battery can slide back and forth while providing power to the follow focus receiver, not that it's really necessary for most setups, but that allows for the cage to be flipped back and forth between low and high mode while detaching a minimal amount of cables.

Hey guys, this UK company, make a nice weight plate for DSLR use that I have used several times already:

 

They normally throw it in with their flyer kits on hire, getting one with the archer kit I have on the way, as i've done a lot of DSLR work lately:
