Premium Members Afton Grant Posted July 14, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 14, 2010 I recently put this little voltmeter together for a fellow op who wanted to have a better idea of the remaining life on his batteries on his PRO sled. It's a simple plug and play design. It has three plugs, one for each P-tap port on each battery plate. A three-way switch selects between each battery. An LED panel displays the voltage being put out by each. I don't think I'm the first to have done something like this - I recall seeing other things similar in the past. It's not an intelligent meter like Jim's ICBM. It won't calculate percentage, or time remaining, or amperage. It just reads the straight voltage.
