I've problems with my Ultra2 Vest because when the arm is distant from the body/vest this produces scratch sounds that are much annoying when it comes recorded audio.

How I can resolve the problem?

thanks

I had a squeaking sound coming from one of the ratchet straps on my Ultra 2 vest.

The cure for this, was dry silicon spray on lubricant.

If it's not the straps, then maybe it's coming from the velcro.

Try to tear the pads of and put it back on.

That might solve your problems.

Thanks for response Thomas,

I think that the problem is where the socket block base is attached on the vest.

You're welcome.

But that the Sound is comming from the socket block, dosn't sound good.

Have you tried to loosen the socket block plate, give it some teflon and then tighten it down again? Maybe that'll work?

Hi,

also had (have) that problem. It comes from ratchet straps in a place where metal comes in contact with plastic strip. Tried to put teflon oil after cleaning and it did not help. Then tried with dry teflon spray and it works for now but I hear it from time to time. Next I will try with silicone lubricant.....

any other opinion?

regards
