How much you pay for the insurance and what are the options? I live in Lithuanian, our local insurance company wants 3% from equipment value for insuring from theft, operating accident , generally covering any damages, but.... there is a franchise for 15%, meaning if my system costs 100 000$, i crash it during work and the expenses for fixing it are less than 15% of the value, insurance company does not cover it... so basically the insurance is valid only in the case you crash something so hard that you cannot repair it... what are your practices in different countries? maybe anyone can suggest any european insurance companies for something better?
