Fabrizio,

If the forum is accessed with a Blackberry the forum should recognize the device and automatically display the "mobile" skin.

I don't have a Blackberry to test this. Anybody?

Nope, it doesn't happen. The web interface version is displayed and no "Go" button to hit in case Mobile version is selected.

Once the Mobile skin is selected, Javascript should recognize the change and "click go" for you.

Do you have Javascript disabled on your Blackberry? Do Blackberry's even have JavaScript? :huh:

Hi Tim, many thanks for your help. Yes, BB has JavaScript and mine is enabled.

Following your instructions, here is the result of the User agent string explained:

BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.586 Profile/MIDP - 2.1 Configuration/CLDC - 1.1 VendorID/142

BlackBerry9700 ???

5.0.0.586 Profile CPU type: Intel PC compatible

MIDP-2.1 Configuration ???

CLDC-1.1 VendorID ???

142 ???

Fabrizio,

I need the exact text from that page. For example mine is:

Firefox 3.6.10
Mozilla	MozillaProductToken. It's a Mozilla based user agent
5.0	Mozilla Version
Windows	Platform
U	Security values:

   * N for no security
   * U for strong security
   * I for weak security

Windows NT 6.1	Operating System:
icon Windows 7
en-US	Language Tag, indicates the language for which the client had been localized (e.g. menus and buttons in the user interface)
en-US = English - United States
rv:1.9.2.10	CVS Branch Tag
The version of Gecko being used in the browser
Gecko	Gecko engine inside
20100914	Build Date:
the date the browser was built
Firefox	Name :
Firefox
3.6.10	Version

Nothing like that comes out visiting the page from my blackberry. everything is exactely the same as reported. Don't know how to add a copy of it in here, but if you visit the site and copy and paste this: BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.586 Profile/MIDP - 2.1 Configuration/CLDC - 1.1 VendorID/142

and analyze it you'll see that almost nothing will comes out...
