Eric Schmiedl
I can't tell how much of the blame for that shot should be laid on the crappy rig, or the crappy operator... it's a good try, though.
Premium Members Ants Martin Vahur Posted October 10, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 I guess I'm not the only one here who can say that I am much more stable shooting handheld than this guy in that video with his weird apparatus. And whats with the letterbox? It looks like he framed for 16:9 and then cropped it later to a 2,35:1 or 3:1..
Moderators Janice Arthur Posted October 10, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 Hi all; Boy what a picture. Amazingly he's got the camera up and going on it. The rental house has no idea where their camera has been! Drop time turning, I'd cringe everytime he tilted it sideways. Yikes! Ironically, the way film is going that camera is becoming a wonderfully elegant hunk of metal that may just soon be right on that rig because no one will be shooting with it.
