Kyle Harbour
Hello all, I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I've been following the Forum and reading different posts for a while now and decided it was time to come out of hiding and introduce my self. Im currently attending a film school in LA and have gained an appreciation for the art of Steadicam. I have been learning on a Glidecam V-16 ( i know eww) But I have been able to work with the steadicam flyer and pilot. While at my school I was able to Meet Charles Papert and He was gracious enough to let me PA for him at the last Masters Class. It was a great learning experience. I got to meet a few other awesome operators like David Allen Grove, and Brian Freesh. Thanks to Brian Freesh for teaching me and guiding me through the new stages of Operating. Thanks for letting me be apart of the community. Kyle Harbour Edited October 2, 2010 by Kyle Harbour

Premium Members Brian Freesh Posted October 6, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 Kyle is good people. I haven't known him long, but he's shown himself to be very motivated, thoughtful, considerate, and appreciative. He really loves camera and steadicam and wants to represent the best qualities of an operator. So I told him to avoid Ron Baldwin. (but see him for your first tube of Lisigav) When i end up not being able to hack it as an operator, Kyle will be an adequate replacement ;)
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted October 6, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 don't worry -- just get a tetanus before we meet and you'll be fine...also, a healthy dose of penicillin will help the burning.
