Premium Members Anthony Quesada Posted November 15, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 Hey guys, Im thinking about picking up a light weight matte box and was interested by O'connor's new O-Box. I haven't seen it in person but was wondering if anyone had any experience working with it? I can't find specs on the weight? Is it a viable option for steadicam or should I look at the Arri LMB-5? Are there other matte boxes you guys particularly like? Thanks again, Anthony
Premium Members richard bellon Posted November 15, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 Hi I have an LMB-5 I would get the LMB-15 its way cooler I think it may be a touchbe heavier though I can't recall U can't go wrong with an arri matte box (probably more expensive) And I think its the only light weight mattebox that fits the Zeiss superspeeds as the 80mm back-clamp extends the mattebox as it doesn't fit otherwise because of the viewfinder
