Hello everybody,

Ive got a creaky arm , I've dissassembled it , got all the dust and grit out , and have wiped most of the grease off in there in the process. Which type of grease do I use , to re-grease it ? There's a rubber covering over the top springs so I dont want to put something on there that will corrode it. Should it be a silicone grease ? Im not too sure and I dont want to mess it up - any recommendations would be gratefully received. Its an actioncam zero g arm.

Cheers,

Sarah McC.

ACF-50 is what I use. Try searching it has been discussed many times.

Not recommended unless you are taking the arm into extreme conditions.

Sparing drops of Teflon lubricant is better: http://www.radioshack.com/pwr/product-reviews/Cables-Parts-Connectors/Chemicals-tape-adhesives/Oil-lubricants/RadioShack/p/2102643-Precision-Oiler.html

Hi Chris,

a lot of guys on the forum use this oil (ACF-50), I use it myself also from time to time. What's the issue with it? Is it damaging in any way?
