Premium Members Bryan Fowler Posted January 3, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 I don't think so. I think it's just the HC. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I mean, WHEN. =)
Premium Members Joshua Harrison Posted January 3, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 can't see why not on a pro rig at least for the two battery slots in the back perhaps the battery slot for the monitor may not fit, and the onboard mount may not work, but it should fit in those back slots no problem. Premium Members Scott Jason Gill Posted January 4, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 As far as air travel, yes. With the revised new rules now in effect, you can carry-on up to 3 HCXs (2 loose and one installed on equipment) but you can check only one (must be attached to a piece of equipment). The smaller Dionic 90 and Dionic HC have no carry-on limit but only 1 is allowed to be checked (must be attached to a piece of equipment). The larger Dionic 160 is not allowed at all. Andrew Stone
Are these limits for air travel with batteries for North America or does this apply to travel between North America and Europe, as well?

North America. The IATA docs appear to follow the same guidelines but also state "with the approval of the airline" so I guess the carrier has the choice to further limit items.
