Make sure you don't stop by the same place to get coffee with me. Richard, wage and pay depends on the living condition where you live. 1pound where you live won't worth much, but at the country will be a lot. If you just compare it by the number, they make much less than you, but the value of their earns are 10 to 20 times larger than yours. You both are such a.... BTW Deep Pal is a steadicam operator of great repute. I have never met him, but know of his reputation for a good part of my 20 years in this business. I'm sure you are a legendary operator, and you must be worried sick that this "Seven -Eleven" man along with other guys who "look like him" will come and take your job, but I doubt Deep Pal would really be that interested. I think the interview is very interesting, because it shows our line of work from a different, local perspective. steadicam is a tool that is being used all over the world, not everybody is "lucky" enough to work in "Hollywood". as he states, there are more than 1000 features being made in india every year.
