After calibrating, the thing very quickly looses it's marks, and eventually shifts all the way to one end of the lens. Does anyone have any knowledge of this brand? Premium Members Stefano Ben Posted February 11, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 11, 2011 Hi Alan. Your problem it's very strange. Fox Unit it's a very precise wireless follow focus. I spent wonderfull moments and jobs with this Brand but at the same time, it's so delicate and you must to take care of this Unit in particular more than a most famous "war-soldier unit" like Bartech. Now, (with BDR) it can also calibrate the focus automaticaly, so... there aren't no importants differences between the 2 units. The FOX follow focus it's a brand more famous in Europe than in the USA, (in fact it's a German Production). Anyway, generally the FOX forgets its calibrature when you power off the receiver and than, after a few minuts, you switch on the unit. I never had any problem with the FMG-6 or HEDEN Motors. Try to switch off the Recevier and the Hand/Transmitter Unit for a 10min. and then turn on both and restart the calibration... It should work! Let me know. Best, Steve.
