Premium Members Thomas English Posted April 13, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 13, 2011 I did a 3d job with two of them on steadicam. I thought it a shame you couldn't master and slave them like EX3's. I liked the fact they had ND. Its just another camera really.
Premium Members Ramon Engle Posted April 15, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 Hi guys.Whats the remote camera ON/OFF on this camera? Is it an easy interface with a remote follow focus? Thanks Ramon
Premium Members Brad Grimmett Posted April 24, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 24, 2011 I shot a project with it recently (no steadicam). It's OK. The viewfinder and monitor are absolute garbage. It's the same old story with hand holding it...not great. For what it is, the footage looked pretty good. Premium Members JobScholtze Posted May 12, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 12, 2011 Like thomas said, its just another camera. With a prime it can be as heavy as any other camera. I did 2 days a 3d job. Concert on a p+s freestyle rig on primes. I absolute hate it. Nothing to do with the camera though, but 2 1/2 hours concert with that beast is pain. Premium Members Thomas English Posted May 26, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 26, 2011 Yeah, well done job.. for a concert thats gotta hurt. I did a Nintendo commercial that was really run and gun and whilst compared to two RED cameras it was better it still hurt. I had two Optimo zooms on and the heavy Panavision special base plate (Stereo tech insisted) they seem to have. What I've done though is drilled 1/4 inch clearance holes on the long slots on my XCS plates so now I can use my XCS plates straight into the bottom with two anchor points.
