Premium Members Michael Hauer Posted April 29, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 29, 2011 Hey All So I have a RED gig on monday, and I'm worried i don't have enough batteries, but the owner of the camera has a bunch of red bricks. Is there any reason not to use them on the rig? I hanve an archer2 (vmount of course).
Premium Members Erik Brul Posted April 29, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 29, 2011 Hi Michael, You can use them without any problem on the Sled. The only 'problem' you can encounter is that there can be a weight difference between your own batts and the red bricks. So some rebalance can be in order.. Enjoy the flight, Cheers, Erik
Premium Members James Puli Posted April 29, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 29, 2011 Nope, no reason not to use the red batteries. Unless u don't have the power cable to drive the red from your sled of course! I use them on my Steadyrig base all the time (through an AB to Vlock adapter plate) Works great and you don't have the wear and tear on your batteries.
