Igor Votintsev
These are some extreme pictures of russian DP and steadicam operator Igor Chernykh from shooting of the Soviet film in 1977 (with custom made stabilizer, certainly). P.S. I'm limited on uploading files (200K). The more photos in text post...

Moderators Janice Arthur Posted June 18, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted June 18, 2014 Hi all; Igor's last picture is a factory CP version complete with CP metal logo tag on the sled. Funny though look at the monitor is above the camera. The first however many had those but i think everyone figured out looking up as you walked was a bad idea. Ironically now with new little rigs and LCD screens built into every camera I see the same thing back again. Janice Have a fun week. (Those first few pictures are amazing and scary.) Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted June 19, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 19, 2014 I believe Terry West still has most of a cp-35? It was, I believe, Cinema Product's first production model? The motor for the 2C was in the lower sled AMD the driveshaft ran through the "center post". Good times. We've come a long way baby
