The Coen Brother's "Miller's Crossing"

A general question to all who are fan's of Larry McConkey's work in Miller's Crossing. In the final "2 shot" walk and talk between Albert Finney and Gabriel Byrne is it steadicam or not? I don't think so because there is absolutely no float in the framelines. But then again its not dolly because you'd be able to see the track at some point during the tail end of their dialogue. So what the heck is it?!?

Anyway....
