Premium Members Dean Smollar Posted June 25, 2011 Premium Members Report Posted June 25, 2011 Should I go to Tiffen or are there other options here in Los Angeles? Maybe someone who could show me what to do for maintenance while they check it out. It definitely needs some work, and I'm very much not qualified. Quote

In LA ... don't know, but Brant Fagan (who is on the forum) used to do 3A Gimbal service. He did my old 3A gimbal a number of years ago, and did a great job making it like new. Not sure if he is still doing this or not but worth a shot. Best, Rich Davis Quote
Premium Members Brant S. Fagan SOC Posted June 25, 2011 Premium Members Report Posted June 25, 2011 Rich-- Thanks for the kind words of support! Yes, I still handle CP gimbal repairs and service. Feel free to contact me either through the Forum or by direct email at brant -at- brantsfagan -dot- com. Quote
Premium Members Alec Jarnagin SOC Posted June 25, 2011 Premium Members Report Posted June 25, 2011 Brant will make a 3a gimbal better than new. Seriously. Best option out there (short of buying an XCS/PRO gimbal). Quote
Premium Members Dean Smollar Posted June 25, 2011 Author Premium Members Report Posted June 25, 2011 Thanks everyone! I started corresponding with Brant off the board. I honestly don't mind using my Glidecam for a little bit longer anyways. Quote
