I liked Erwin's Yeager cart with the sled set into the hand truck instead of outside the wheel base.

Here's the post. I think page 2 has the picture.

One of these days I hope to get a car so I can have a "real" cart. But right now I'm stuck with a Rock-n-Roller so it can fold up and fit in a yellow cab in NYC.

I think FilmTools now sells Erwin's design, but with the Backstage carts instead of the Yaeger.

Pedro: do you find that the handles on the Yaeger get in the way? I like my Magliner's spinning handles so I can get them out of the way for balancing docked to the cart.

I need a Hill balancing bracket badly.

I think Erwin always used Backstage and went a bit bigger than the Yeager Jr...closer to the "normal" Yeager. I feel for, and admire the ops in NYC who can get away without cars and carts -- pretty cool.

Maken (Yeager and Sons) will make you anything you want...just ask:

"Pedro: do you find that the handles on the Yaeger get in the way?"

-Not at all....I spin my bracket...Bam, Balance. I think my ergo XCS handle is longer than some out there and the rig is well away from the cart for balance.

"your welds are better than Maken's. Vote for Pedro "

-Thanks!!!

more to come!

First week on a feature and the cart is a big hit.

First week on a feature and the cart is a big hit.

no offense but people have been doing this to yeagers and other carts for 20+ yrs. If it was a big hit on the set were they also excited about your wireless follow focus?

all ribbing aside, what other plans do you have...Eric is waiting to be one-upped!

I should clariy that.....it's a bit hit with me!

nothing crazy just some custom A&S cases to fit underneath....might fabricate some other attachments....

at the moment the post, vest hanger and the Mitchell mount all fit inside the cart...
