Premium Members Gus Trivino Posted July 30, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 30, 2011 Hi guys In all my steadicam career, I worked in 45 movies as steadicam operator (and a lot as assisstant). Today, after waiting almost 2 years, I started my first movie as Director -In 2009 I won a kind of contest between hundred of scripts, and the National Institute of Cinema here give me almost $300.000 in order to do this film- Yes, I know this is not the best budget, but with a lot of care, here in Argentina you do an independent film with $300.000. We will use a lot of steadicam yes, but te movie doesnt need long steadicam shot. I hope to do my job well as Director. Im happy and only wanna share this with you. Best to all, Gus PS: Steadicam configuration? We are using Arri Alexa + ultraprimes lenses + clip-on ;)
