Premium Members Dan Coplan Posted October 24, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 I'm scheduled to work a commercial tomorrow morning but I have no idea where I'm supposed to be or when. Production contacted me on Friday to confirm me and get my email address. It's 9:30 Sunday night and I have zero info. I called the number they called me on, but it goes to production's voicemail. What do I do? Am I still on the clock at call even if I show up late because they failed to get me the necessary info? I've gotten late call sheets before, but to get no call sheet is a new one in my experience. Dan
Premium Members Brant S. Fagan SOC Posted October 24, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 Dan-- If you followed all reasonable courses of action and came up empty, you are on the clock at call and they are at fault. Period. Most email-only call sheets I have worked from ask for a reply to confirm receipt either by text, email or phone. A 'no reply' from you should have prompted a call to reconnect. Have a great day!
