Premium Members Jessica Lopez Posted October 25, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 That's a pretty good looking package you got there! Just wanted to say that I am sad to hear you are retiring my friend. You're an amazing operator and an amazing person to be around. It has been a pleasure being able to have a couple beers with you Rusty! Oh, and the book totally rocks! Looks like a road trip to Australia with the Steadicam Guild is in order! Cheers! All the best in your future Rusty!
Premium Members William Demeritt Posted October 25, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 Count me in on an Australia visit! Rusty: would you consider selling the Stanton on the side? If you get a buyer for the whole package, no worries, but if you consider splitting it up, please keep me in mind? Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted October 25, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 I'm the proud Owner of Rusty's old bicycle. The left of the Handlebar is gone and both brakes and speeds are controlled from the right handgrip. I've actually used it on a Job with great results. I believe the late Jeff Mart had one as well. I also had his PRO1 Lower electronics and batteries for several years, He keeps his gear in excellent shape. An excellent person and operator. Good luck in any future endeavor. Members Rusty Geller
That good old Diamondback Meanstreak. Learned to ride mountain bikes on that old boy, had a lot of great adventures on it. Now I'm riding an aluminum Trek with 5" of suspension and 30 gears, but I bet 35 year old Rusty on the Meanstreak could out-ride 60 year old Rusty on the Trek. Time moves on and ya gotta move with it. Cheers, Rusty I'm the proud Owner of Rusty's old bicycle. The left of the Handlebar is gone and both brakes and speeds are controlled from the right handgrip.
