Premium Members Wolfgang Troescher Posted November 1, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Hi! Want to use a wireless video transmitter on my zephyr. Just for a control monitor. I bought a cheap transmitter/receiver for 5.8 GHz. For the transmitter I don´t want to use an extra 12V battery on the stage, but want to use the steadicam battery instead. My problem: Didn´t find an adapter from 3-Pin-standard-Lemo to 12V DC. Do anybody know a supplier for such an adapter? Already tried this one from Schuricht, but it was the wrong lemo connector. Thank you! Wolfgang

Premium Members Mark Schlicher Posted November 1, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Any of the cable fabricators who are mentioned on the forum can make one for you. Consider having a 3-pin to Powertap intermediate connector made up. Then you have future options that avoid the expensive lemo conector, in case you need a different power cable later. LCD4Video sells a p-tap to 12V cable for $23.00 on their website or on ebay.
Premium Members Wolfgang Troescher Posted November 2, 2011 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Thank you Ryan and Mark! My head is spinning with all the different Lemo-connectors on the market. Tomorrow I´ll visit Betz-Tools here in Munich (fetching my F-Bracket). Perhaps they have the right cables in stock or they can make one for me. Wolfgang
Premium Members Mark Schlicher Posted November 2, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 The Zephyr manual (latest revision) lists the correct lemo connector and pinouts. It's the same as the connectors on the Archer and, I believe, the Clipper. I would imagine that Betz-tools can help you.
