Premium Members Twojay Dhillon Posted November 7, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 In the possibility that I am unable to find a TB-6 cover to purchase for this weekend, I'm seeing if anybody would have one to loan for a weekend shoot. Could pick up Friday and return Sunday. Oh, and possibly covers for my arm (PRO). Thanks, all! :)

Premium Members Twojay Dhillon Posted November 7, 2011 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 The pro arm does NOT need arm covers I've read and heard this before, Eric, however seeing how much money I've spent on the arm I figured $50 would go a long way in protecting my investment. Yes, I know I'm being totally anal and over-protective of my baby (which is NOT how I operate!)!
Premium Members Eric Fletcher S.O.C. Posted November 7, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 Honestly if you really want to degrade your arm performance you'll use a arm cover. This isn't a Tiffen arm, it robust and correctly designed for our use. You don't need or even want an arm cover

Now that a loss of performance is a part of the equation I am all for not using any arm covers. Thanks for the advice!
Premium Members Twojay Dhillon Posted November 14, 2011 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 Made it through the shoot! Not much moisture, really. I made rain covers for the lower part of my sled using cut-up clear shower curtains and velcro. However, I ended up just saran-wrapping the crap out of everything -- including monitor -- as time was very short. B)
