Premium Members Charles Papert Posted November 28, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 28, 2012 Regarding #1--don't think it was his invention, more like a period of naming parts after notable CP employees (see: Robings J Bracket and West Docking Bracket, monikkers that have disappeared into antiquity, sad considering they belong to gentlemen whose career contributions to the Steadicam world were greater albeit less infamous than JG's...) Mark Baluk
I suggest the site be modified with many additional questions with a minimum to be answered before a person can view the site A lot of what I learned (and knowledge that would answer those questions) came from this very forum. Why would you bar someone from reading (posting is different than just reading) the forum? The forum is full of secrets, but they are secrets that should be out there for anyone to search and read. Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted November 29, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) What's the answer to 6 and 7? Just curious. Otherwise the question should be: What is "Lisigav"? (fun tip: do a google image for it) More seriously: I knew the name of garret before entering the site, but for some reason, I kept on writing "Garret Brown" for answer, instead of just "Brown". Did a quick google and got the right wording. Not complicated and limits the DVXuser kind of crowd in here. As for accessibility, you can still read the forum and search it before signing in and look for a thread with the answer. Chris Callarman
Those are a bit too easy. Perhaps some more obscure questions are in order.
