Premium Members Aaron B. Brown Posted January 27, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 Does anyone have any experience putting the epic into low mode?
Premium Members William Demeritt Posted January 27, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 I usually just rebalance my gimbal and let the camera shoot upside down. If they're worried about flipping the image in post (someone once complained, saying it added to editing cost), go into the camera settings and manually flip the image there. Client monitor should be correct now, and you just adjust your monitor accordingly.

Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted January 28, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 do Epics flip? I wish Alexas did I would like to know this, too. I was doing some inverted low mode on an Epic, and I couldn't find the setting.

Premium Members Ken Nguyen Posted January 28, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 Unless there is a just-newly released firmware which I couldn't know, Epic can not flip the image. I tried Alexa this morning. Couldn't find any setting for image flip neither. Flip in post or using low-mode bracket is still the only option right now. Cheers, Ken Nguyen. Premium Members William Demeritt Posted January 28, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 I'm probably cross-referencing with the RED MX then, my bad. Yea, I've just flown it upside down and they flip it back in post. Sorry about the confusion, sometimes you just assume that the new version of a camera does what the previous version did, like flip the image, or do playback... Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted February 21, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 21, 2012 The epic does have a vertical flip function. I found it in settings - monitor - vertical flip. I was pretty pumped when I stumbled across that.
