It seems that every chance you get, you bring up all of the flaws they have. Yes, Tiffen arms have issues with telegraphing, and people often confuse ISO-Elasticity with friction, but Tiffen still makes pretty good stuff. I'm not trying to be rude at all, but I do see you arguing a lot with Jerry and other Tiffen users about how Pro, XCS, and WK make vastly superior products. I learned from Tiffen while demonstrating for NAB, that one should only speak highly of the products we represent (I don't receive a check from Tiffen) and let the consumer arrive at their own conclusion with the education we have given them about the gear. But NEVER badger another product... even if it truly does suck like a rotten egg on a steamy August day in Georgia. No David, I don't confuse the made up word with friction, it IS friction, and yes those three DO make a better product and guess what, I've flown EVERYTHING I've commented on, I've been doing this and have been around Steadicam for 32+ years, so my opinions and knowledge come from experience.. Have you flown all the equipment being discussed in this thread? What do you fly? How did you come about it? Those answers might be telling wrt this discussion.... And once again, you missed the point of my post, it wasn't that I don't like Tiffen arms and suits (I've never said I dont like their suits so I'm not ure where you got that) it was that those operators even some flying Tiffen sleds chose a different arm and suit manufacture Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
