Anyone have any leads on one? Thanks! Dont bother, it sucks. It wont help a bit in weight range. Not at all, and the second arm is gonne be a pain. Your sk monitor will be in the way. Every penny you invest in the sk2 is a waste of time. Job

Premium Members Thomas K. Jensen Posted February 19, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 A local tv-station I'm working for, has a SK sled (with a new monitor) and they bought a used G-50 arm and Ultra vest. It works fine.
Premium Members Martin Stacey Posted February 20, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 20, 2012 I have an SK2 with a dual arm upgrade. Works ok but the sled definitely needs a monitor upgrade and the ability to slide the battery mount to get dynamic balance. Have a plan for it. Maybe one day I'll actually do it. Until then it gathers dust.
Brandon Whiteside
Well I have replaced the monitor with a 7" Marshall and am currently working on a battery solution to add more batteries to the rig. You can't judge a man by his tools. This setup is currently working for me, and I am still looking for an additional arm. If anyone has any leads, that would be awesome. You can contact me by phone at 818-926-7104 or email Brandon.Whiteside@gmail.com. Thank you.
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted April 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 2, 2012 An SK at a TV station I worked at started my steadicam career, worked fine for the jobs I was doing at the time. If it works for you, that's all you need to worry about. Just the fact you changed the monitor to the Marshall increased it's usefulness by tons. Good luck with your project.
