Bryant Swanstrom
Nice setup, bummer you had to move the copperhead to the top. I think I would have taken the two extra pounds if it had been possible. What is the most weight you have put on the Pro-Arm? I've personally never had to put in all four blacks, but I do wonder what the actual limit is.
Premium Members Pedro Guimaraes SOC Posted February 27, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 obviously four blacks where in there.....and I have put more weight than this setup on it....I think last year on my segway I had an Atom rig with RED epics and Angeniuex zooms....I think that was more than 80lbs....4 blacks and the arm was sinking..... very happy I was on my segway. Premium Members Eric Fletcher S.O.C. Posted February 29, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 Wait until Producers start wanting to do that with F65s... Huh? You mean UPM or line producer? And why would they want you to fly an expensive camera, not their choice anyway
Premium Members Brian Freesh Posted February 29, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 It's already been done with the heavier (and more expensive) F35. That was the point of showing this off, right? It's a lightweight 3D rig.
Premium Members Pedro Guimaraes SOC Posted February 29, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 "Lightweight" that's what "they" call it......75lbs rig is still not what I call "lightweight" yet. "lightER" is better. ....and yes the F35 were heavier than the F65. ....and yes it has been done. here you go... that said the freestyle rig with Si-2k cameras are closer to 55lbs....that more in the lightweight category
