Moderators Louis Puli SOC Posted February 29, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 Anyone have feedback experience with the Steadyrig Arm? Hi Randy Great arm very well made I know there are 100's of other op's from all around the world how will say the same .Hugo's customer service is fantastic. 1st class .Yes it's not a Pro /G70 BUT for what it is works extremely well . Premium Members Joel San Juan Posted February 29, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 it is a great arm that is hassel free. i love that you can take it apart to clean and reassemble it yourself. Hugo's service is top notch and you get you replies within a day. It's also very light and slick. Only thing is that its hard to make an adjustment on the fly with the arm wrench. But once you get into a good workflow presetting the arm before each shot requirement, its all smooth sailing from there. And did I mention excellent customer service? :) Best Joel
Premium Members Kevin Andrews SOC Posted March 1, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 I picked one up late last year, the build quality is amazing. Also agree that being able to take it down and clean it is a plus. For now, it's my "Pro" arm. (Until I get the new one) 63lbs max carrying will get me through most jobs. It really is bang for the buck. I do get the usual spring boing noises once and a while.
Premium Members Aaron Foley Posted March 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 Randy i'll second the above comments. Through beaches, jungles, deserts (Salt, leaches and sand :P) I've never had any problems with mine. It works well, its tough, its easy and it simple making it virtually bullet proof. As louis said it isn't a PRO or G70 but for the weight range and $$ outlay it's a pretty good buy. Hugos a top bloke and easy to deal with as well. Cheers Aaron
