Premium Members Walter F. Rodriguez Posted March 1, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 Hi, Just wondering who has had custom foam inserts made for there Single Channel Preston or Bartech Digital Units. I would like to keep them each separately in a smaller Pelican like the 1450. I don't really want heavy duty flight cases. Pictures would be great! Thank you,
Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted March 1, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 Hey Walter! Call Charlie at Master Cases. He has all the CAD drawings for Preston and other gear. He will do Pelicans or hard cases. It's really easy, just tell him what you have and he sets up the foam for it. Really nice foam work with hard and soft foam in all the right places and gorgeous routed edges and workmanship. Best of all he's very affordable! 818-896-9333. They open early and close about 4p PST. Ask for Charlie or Enrique. Highly recommended! Robert
Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted March 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 Hey Walter! Call Charlie at Master Cases....... Highly recommended! Robert I second that! Master Cases does great work. They are doing a new battery case for me right now and when I pick it up next week I'll post some photos. Also, I am quite envious of the Preston case he did recently for GPI, probably the best laid out case I've ever seen. I'll try to snap a pic of that one too the next time I'm up there. That being said, I have also had work done at Inner Space and been very happy. They did a great job on my custom anvil sled case and I'm actually going to get them to redo the foam for it once I get the new housing for my Cinetronic monitor. You can't go wrong with either company.

Charlie, Enrique, and Master Cases are the best -- best work, best service, and very fair pricing. I used to use other companies -- now no reason to for the many years that I've been using Master Cases. Tell them one of us recommended you--they have a ton of work and don't generally take cold-calls. Best, Matt

Premium Members Walter F. Rodriguez Posted March 7, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 They sent me three diagrams in pdf format. No photos. I think I may have to tweak the Bartech one since I have the new Digital Receiver. Single Channel Preston and Bartech are for Pelican 1450 Cases. CineTape one is for a Pelican 1400 Case.
