Premium Members James Puli Posted March 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 5, 2012 Hey guys. Had a buzz around the archives, and searched the forum a bit, but couldn't find info on these guys. www.batteryrefill.com Has anyone ever dealt with these guys for battery re-celling? Their website seems legit, but so do many others that I would never use! They also sell re-celled batteries which sound kind of interesting, and are comparable in price to Global Media Pro's generic batts. Are you able to use re-celled batteries with AB chargers? Premium Members Daniel Stilling DFF Posted March 13, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 13, 2012 I just got a couple of Dionics refilled by John Ritter. The service and communication were great, the turn around time a lot faster than expected, and the batteries are as good as new. Charge on AB chargers no issue. It is just like buying new batteries, just a lot cheaper.I bought a receled battery from him as well, same as the others, just like new ones. Site Sponsor John Ritter Posted August 4, 2012 Site Sponsor Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 Hi All Thanks so much for the great testimonials. My Contact information is: Email: siebold35@hotmail.com website: www.ritterbattery.com Phone: 954-557-9765 I also do RED Brick Batteries, IDX, Varizoom, Frezzi, and the ones Rathbone Energy sells, along with all the Chinese knock off packs sold under all the different brand names, plus of course my favorite "ANTON BAUER". Quick note on all Li-Ion packs.... about 60-70 percent of the ones I see have suffered Shock damage (dropped or even a bumping during handling) this causes broken weld tabs/ broken solder joints. If you have a pack that stops working after being dropped or shipped do not let it sit for long as the cells will self discharge below a recoverable level. I can easily repair them for minimal cost versus a full cell replacement. Just did 7 Red Brick packs with this type of issue. JP They are now ebattery.com I have used them for 2 years for dionics and Hytrons. THey replace cells with better then original, price is fair. Any issues are addressed no questions asked. They say LCD may now be accurate after they do the work, but I have not experienced any problems. JA
