I have been reading topics on this forum for the past month trying to gain as much knowledge of Steadicam operating as I could. l recently decieded to buy a Steadicam Pilot to help my train towards operating the bigger rigs, as well as this is big enough to accomodate my small Sony XD cameras I currently shoot on. Im looking to do a workshop but in the meantime have bought the Steadicam Operators Handbook to get me going until then. Here is my first shoot and attempt at flying the Rig with a Sony EX1 camera. The rig is only statically balanced as I just wanted to get to grips with operating and get a feel for the rig on me. Will be looking to try dynamic balancing soon, any tips?
