Premium Members Orlando Duguay Posted April 25, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 25, 2012 orlando, I gotta ask what lens that is you had on there. Before I opened up the photo and could only see the thumbnail, I thought that my ongoing joke of putting the 12-1 on a 5d on a sled had come true! Regardless, that lens looks beastly, I thought I'd seen em all!. Tom Hey Thomas, It was the Red Pro 18-85mm, it is indeed a beast. Orlando Goddamn 10 lb. lens is what that is. I actually wouldn't mind it with the Epic; that camera can use the extra weight.

Orlando Here's a pic of a Red MX on my rig with the 18-85 w/ 3 motors, a 4 stage matte-box, the red drive cradle w/ a drive and a v-mount on the back, and also a CamWave. I was going at full-charge around the side of a mountain (wearing football cleats) to keep up with the actor. I would HATE to have to shlep something like this in the snow. Although there was that one Genesis job in the snow that some of you know about . . . :P
Premium Members Tommy Stork Posted May 15, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 15, 2012 Hi Tommy , I'm on the east coast and could not help you further than probably ask your grips about it or call a specialised rental store where they rent wheelchairs . The only two roll-a-ramp available here are privatly owned by grips . Cheers Thank you, I'll give it a whirl.
