Premium Members chris bangma Posted April 27, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 27, 2012 As per Osvaldo's suggestion, we have updated our 12" Steadicam plate to include iris rod holes on both the front and back of the plate. This will allow transmitters and other accessories to be mounted at the back of the plate as well. The plate is available at www.film-stuff.com

Premium Members Thomas English Posted April 29, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 Dear Osvaldo, Would you use that as your standard everyday plate or only in emergencies?
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted April 30, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 Hi Thomas, I would use this plate on jobs with small box type cameras, where I can just add iris rods to the rear of the plate and mount an AB plate on the back, etc.., I like to spread the weight front to back, instead of stacking. On a live show I work on, I'd attach the small box camera on the plate, then the wireless Transmitter/receiver on rear facing rods.
