Power Problem with Bartech/Heden

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

i have a bartech Remote + Heden M26VE Motor.

Powered by an old (but full)

IPX NP-L 7S via Hirose Plug (4 - pin) to 2 pin Lemo to the control device.

But it does not work.

As long as the motor is not plugged in, everything is fine.

And with motor, no chance... i even can not calibrate....

Any Ideas?

To low power? i guess it´s so.

Hello Patrick,

It is likely that if you are running on 12 volts and the Torque in the BDR is set too high

and the motor is trying to draw too much power from the power supply.

Try lowering the torque

I sent you a PM with contact details

regards,

Marc

Is your a BDR?

JA

Hi JA

It would have to be if he was using a Digital M26VE heden motor :)

Then again, that could be the problem.

Has it ever worked Patrick? Have you tried other power sources, like a P-Tap?

If you try an alternative power source and it works fine.

Then you can write off any issues with the wireless follow focus kit and then your next step should be to look at the battery/rig set-up

Are you powering anything else off of this battery?

Monitor, modulus/any other kind of wireless transmitter?

Camera?

It's only a 68wh battery, it probably wouldn't take much to max out it's capacity.
