Premium Members Michael Wilson Posted May 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 I saw this Hungarian film the other night. It is extremely slow with only 30 shots over the course of 146 minutes. It was a chore to get through, very bleak and very slow. The steadicam was amazing though. It takes place on a small farm during a very strong wind storm. The steadicam follows the characters around the farm through gale force winds most of the film. And they do some amazing long and subtle moves indoors. The operator was Tilman Buttner. (Russian Ark, Run Lola Run etc) The first shot might be steadicam, but for sure at :44. Its worth a watch, but a long one indeed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNkN_xCXozw
