I too am/was interested in this monitor, but...they said it is not as bright as their 7" and they do not put an ab battery mount on it (not sure why!?). It is in a new aluminum housing and has all the features of the 7" which is great (and lacking from nearly all other monitors available). I hope a brighter monitor this size is on the horizon.
