I will be in LA from 5/31 to 6/8 attending Cinegear and the various events and can bring stuff with me. Here we go: 1) DCE (DeRose Cinema Engineering)/Sony Diversity Tuner. If you don't know who Bob DeRose is, search the archives; he is retired now, but was a true pioneer for years when it comes to gear. This tuner is a Sony RV tuner mated with a Sony diversity unit and rehoused by Bob into a metal casing with professional connectors. It takes three BNC antennae (NOT INCLUDED) and is powered via a 4-pin XLR (also not included; I'd recommend adapting an AC power supply). Cost a bundle when they were new, but like most things SD.... Price: $200. 2) Tiffen Steadicam Flyer Monitor. The newer version of their 16:9 7" SD monitor for the Flyer (it has image flip that actually works). Barely used. Cost over $400 new. Price: $200. 3) Custom Panasonic 7" 16:9 SD monitor. Made this as a backup monitor years ago. Has a SEITZ frame line generator and a custom Junction Box that allows it to work with the PRO standard 8-Pin Lemo. If your 8-Pin Lemo sled cable is wired for two channels of video, this will handle both channels (I used to run the 2nd channel for my on-board recorder and since the TB-6 was able to do this, I made this the same). It can also take an external BNC in and pass the signal through via another BNC. Frankly, the add-ons are worth more than the monitor (which is decent but newer models are better). You could always buy this and re-pupsoe the add-ons for another monitor (like the Flyer monitor). Price: $200. 4) Anton Bauer Inter-Active 2000 Charger AND Expansion Module. The charger is the Two Position Sequential Charger with LCD display and 70 Watt Power supply. Firmware updated to the latest, greatest (so it WILL charge all AB batteries). The expansion module is the Anton Bauer XM-2004 four position expansion module. This expansion module adds 4 additional charging stations to an interactive 2000 series charger. This expansion module will charge all Anton Bauer batteries EXCEPT Dionic series batteries. To re-cap, there are SIX positions total. Two will charge everything and the other four will charge everything but Dionics. Price: $550. 5) PRO SD Center Post Cable BY XCS. This is the XCS version of the PRO Center Post Cable. It has the standard 8-Pin LEMO on both ends to mate with PRO SD J-Boxes but it uses 16 AWG cabling so you get less Voltage drop. I have changed both of my sleds out to the HD versions, but I loved this cable! No power issues ever! Sells new for $600. Price: $300. 6) Du-All Arri eye-Piece Tap. B&W. $100 (ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!).
