Premium Members William Demeritt Posted June 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 2, 2012 Isn't it HDMI only? That's not so good. Not good but getting there. Buy an AJA HA5 and you're good on the receiver end. Decimator 2 on tx end with scaling to hdmi enabled and you're transmitting. It probably has a few antennas, I'm curious to see about the broadcast power and actual transmission channels.
Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted June 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 3, 2012 The range is 300 ft, line of sight. The HDMI can handle anything you throw at it. Use it with a decimator for HD-SDI. I tried it our at Cinegear, and it worked great!
Premium Members William Demeritt Posted June 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 3, 2012 Alan: just posted a new thread about it. Hoping I can score a demo to play with it sometime soon.
guilherme barbosa
Have a look at the Paralinx Arrow. Its fairly new, im sharing a booth with them at Cinegear. Its very small and light, its like a USB stick with an HDMI plug on it, it almost weighs nothing. Its uncompressed 1920x1080 HD with very low latency maybe 2 frames or so. Its cheap at 999 dollars including cables. That's sound really interesting!!! I would need more range, but it sounds great. HDMI (can't please everybody) but he has a niche most definitively .
