Premium Members Chris Horvath Posted July 15, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 Hey, I just got a new Marshall 6.5" with AB mount and am having a tough time finding a mount for my sled. I had this crappy pole mount but it kept moving around with the weight of the monitor and battery. If anyone could point me to a good mount that they use, or if you have modified your monitor to attach a yoke mount it would be most helpful with any info. Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted July 15, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 What sled do you have? Do you need the battery mounted to the monitor, or could you use the battery plate that's already on the sled?
Premium Members Chris Horvath Posted July 15, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 I have a 3A sled. I need the battery on the monitor unless I can power the monitor with an 8Pin LEMO cable which I do not think I can do with the Marshall
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted July 16, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 16, 2012 Sure can power it with an 8 pin Lemo. Terry West made me a lovely cable that goes from my PRO to the Marshall's XLR and BNC connectors (for SD video).
Premium Members David M. Aronson Posted July 16, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 16, 2012 If the monitor is similar to what I have, you might need the battery on it to act as counterweight for the batteries.

Did you ever get any help with that Marshall 6.5 inch mounting problem? I bought the same monitor, but Marshall says they don't make a yoke for their monitors that small. I'm thinking about asking the guys at Modern Studio Equipment if they can fabricate one for me. Ryan
Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted August 21, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 There was someone on the forum who made up some yokes for them. Should be able to find the thread if you do a search. Ive got one and it works great
Premium Members Joel San Juan Posted August 21, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 Hi, Not sure if this is what you are looking for but our fellow operator Matthias Biber has a monitor yoke that he manufactures: http://www.cam-jam.de/yoke.html Call him up, really nice guy, perhaps he can help you modify it to suit your Marshall. Good luck and hope this helps Best Joel
