Premium Members Adi Visser SOC SASO Posted August 15, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) it looks IDENTICAL to the Switronix Recon transmitter. It looks the same but apparently the picture is rock solid unlike the camwave and Recon anyway I will try and get my hands on one and test it. Premium Members Brian Freesh Posted August 15, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 15, 2012 Considering the Pro-X logo is identical for the Pro-X Tx/Rx as the Switronix Pro-X line of batteries, I think it's safe to say the Switronix and Pro-X Tx/Rx units are the exact same thing. Premium Members Ryan Brooks Posted August 19, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 I've had the Switronix Recon Ultra on several shoots now. The feedback I have gotten is the picture is rock solid. Biggest downfall is the distance is only about half of what is advertised. Other then that, it seems to be working well so far. Premium Members Thomas English Posted August 19, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 Yeah they are the same. At least my Switronix RECON actually says "Pro-X" on the casing. Its cool, its cheapish, itn has antenna sockets which is a pain if you want the director to roam with it on the back of the handheld monitor (he'll break it) but great if you want to set up a bigger better antenna array. Is it gonna be better than the new CAMWAVE coming out.. dunno.
