Premium Members Afton Grant Posted August 26, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 26, 2012 With the new PRO Generation 3, and now 4 battery hangers, the former disk mounts that secured our PDLs to the Generation 2 hangers no longer worked. You could use Velcro which isn't very stable. You could tap new holes into your Lower J Box, requiring proper tools and precision. Or you could use just one screw into the existing hanger mounting holes, but the PDL can rotate, and also hang too low for the new Generation 4 base. I set out to find a solution and came up with this bracket. It's simple, it fits onto the rig without any modifications. It works with both the Gen 3 and Gen 4 bases (probably the Gen 2 as well, though I haven't actually tested that). It is made to work on either side of the rig. It is 3/16" thick, and provides enough clearance for a recorder mount (as seen in the pictures). I had many made. If anyone would like one, please see my post in the marketplace. Cheers!
