Premium Members Eric Fletcher S.O.C. Posted October 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 3, 2012 Looks great in the dark, worthless outside. Not to mention the weight and the vieuwing angle Viewing angle is fine (170 degrees in both directions) but the weight? Holy Zeuses butthole is 5lbs 12 ounces meaning it's almost 2lbs heavier than a TB-6....
Premium Members Tomas Riuka Posted October 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 3, 2012 I have it for monitoring purposes but definitely not for steadicam..
Premium Members Brandon Sumner Posted October 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 3, 2012 I have been using one for about 6 months on my rig. It is heavy and if you are in full sun it can be tricky to see at times. I took the plex cover off and it improved visibility a lot. With that said I am looking to bite the bullet and get the new cinetronic. Plan to keep the Sony as a back-up.
