Premium Members Michael Hauer Posted October 8, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 (edited) I recently upgraded to a big rig but I am not quite ready to depart with my beloved Archer 2. Its really perfect for about half of my clientele, but I can't afford to have it sitting around. This is an exploratory thread to gauge interest in the NY metro area for it as a rental rig. I think of it as a crossover vehicle. Its perfect if you have a flyer and get a job that with a heavier camera setup or if you have a big rig and get a job where you need to be light and mobile. I love it for documentary/live work, especially since the whole kit, vest, sled, and arm, packs up into a single case. I also have an adapter post for 5/8" so it can be used with a pro arm (a setup I was extremely happy with). I am also open to young operators who have taken a workshop and don't have a rig yet but I'd have to meet you and see you fly the rig and of course it wouldn't go out without insurance. For rates please email me at michaelhauer@gmail.com or call 917 696. If you think you would be a candidate to rent the rig but don't have an immediate need for it please get in touch as well. I want to see if this is a viable option for me, otherwise I am going to sell it. Thanks for your time!
