Premium Members Michael Hauer Posted December 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 Go see this movie. It was totally fucked up, but had some great scenes and terrific steadicam.

Premium Members William Demeritt Posted December 2, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 That's great to hear (both beautiful Steadicam and fucked up). I was a huge fan of "The Assassination of Jesse James...", and have looked forward to Andrew Dominik's next offering for a while!
Premium Members Michael Hauer Posted December 3, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) http://www.theasc.co...tly/page1.php#. Not much about the steadicam here but some really interesting stuff about lighting effects and manipulation of old panavision lenses. Lots of great lo fi lighting solutions! I don't mean to gush too much, but I think this film was so visually creative. Edited December 3, 2012 by Michael Hauer

Greig Fraser is a fantastic DP and really is a master at capturing things in a beautifully poetic way. I did use my AR for most of the movie (Grieg loves it) but stripped the rig down to normal Steadicam mode for a few scenes such as the guys entering / the interior and exiting the card game holdup. Pics to come..! AJ. www.ajcamera.com
