Upgraded to the PRO vest a year ago. From the Glidecam website: http://www.glidecam....t-gold-vest.php Vest purchased new from Adorama for $2,100 5 years ago. I've had some very, very heavy loads on it. It can handle anything your body can. There are some light, cosmetic scratches here and there from resting the rig on my shoulder over the years, and a little bit of rust/corrosion of the 'ski boot' ratchet-closure system, but the socket block (titanium, probably worth $4-500) and pads/cordura are in excellent shape. Brand new waist band replaced by Tom at Glidecam this year. Hasn't even been used since it was replaced. A decent, functional vest for $2k new, and a great starter vest for $1,000. PRICE: $1,000. 2. Cinema Products 3a gimbal In decent shape. Been living on a PRO post for 5 years doing it's job. Solid gimbal. No issues. The same gimbal somebody used on your favorite steadicam shot. PRICE: $1200 It's late and I'm watching "The Police Women of Dallas" on the Oprah Network and my stuff is in the room with my sleeping wife and if I go in there at 130 in the morning to grab steadicam stuff to photograph she'll probably divorce me.
