I have been having some issues with my decimator recently outputting a signal that looks normal on half of objects but washed out grey in brighter portions of the frame. using a F3 camera.

any advise or ideas?

Thank you.

I am attaching an image of what I have been seeing. The camera was not in focus when I snapped the photo.

Don't know what's wrong with the decimator, maybe try playing with the switches in the back. If your problem though is with the F3 specifically you don't need a downconveter since the camera can output sd and hd. For sd, use the video sdi connection and then you have to change the output in the menu somewhere to sd as well.

Hum. Interesting! Decimator on aura photography mode <_< .

First be sure the issue comes from the decimator. Try changing the input source to another camera if the problem persists, try another monitor. Also you might want to switch to another power source but I highly doubt it’s a power issue.

If the problem goes away when you changed the camera it might be a termination issue.

You sure the false color isn't on?

I thought maybe it was that but monitor on camera seemed good and not on false color.

I thought I might have been seeing the same issue on a c300 the day before. But not certain. Just had the c300 output SD that day.

The wireless video signal was the same image.

I don't have any other cameras to test it on but I will as soon as I get the chance.

thanks guys.
