Premium Members James Leonzio Posted December 30, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) They should rename this movie Holy Motors Just saw this movie last night, and my God, some seriously impressive Steadicam work. Some really tough shots with objects (like a banister of a stairway) very close to camera, and almost no "wobble" effect. Also, just some really well choreographed long takes performed with almost unreal precision. Some lock offs made me think it was something other than Steadicam, but the shot itself had to be on Steadi. Credits indicate Loic Andrieu was the Op., and based on his extensive credits, I'm ashamed to say I didn't know the name. He doesn't seem to be active on the forums at all. Regardless, it was a fun movie, and is worth checking out if you can catch it, even if just for the Steadicam. Also, Famke Janssen happen to be sitting just in front of me in the theater, so that was an added bonus. Check it out! Meant to say they should rename the movie "Holy Steadicam" in my original post. Anyway, it was fun to watch. Anyone else see it?
