bobgilles
A great monitor for all video uses - Standard Defintion (SDI/component/composite - PAL &NTSC) and High Definition (HDW F900/HDW F500 (HD-SDI/Analog all formats) and Varicam (HD-SDI 720/60/59.94)). LCD Monitor greatly simplifies HD or SD acquisition whether on location or on the sound stage. Light, compact and thin, this 8.4" TFT LCD monitor combines high brightness and a wide viewing angle with 1024 x 768 XGA native resolution. This Monitor is a new design for delivery of crisp, clear HD or SD images. I have one of these and the new HVX200 on order, they will go nicely with the Varicam shoots. BT-LH900 8.4" BT Series Multi-Format Color LCD Monitor U.S. List Price $4,890.00 However, you can get one free right now, if you buy a Varicam. It is a great Monitor. bobgilles
I payed 70000Y for mine, around $760 US ■Panasonic BT-LH900P 価格 ¥7,0000(1日) 8.4型マルチフォーマット対応液晶モニター。 1080/60i、1080/24p、720p、NTSC、PAL等幅広く対応。 またPinPにて簡易波形モニター表示も可能。 I ordered my SDX900 in Tokyo and was one of the first shooting in CA. I have to fly to Tokyo to get my SVX200 as well. Duties are a bitch, but well worth it. This is a killer unit, it comes in PAL/NTSC, one model for all countries, gotta love it! mattmarek
do you use a trim pack on the back for power or do you have it rigged up to your sled? how is the weight?
bobgilles
I plan to power it from the rig, it is beefy and weighs about 5 pounds, but it comes with an Anton Bauer gold mount. As far as brightness, it is not very bright 300-500 NIT range, but it is very daylight veiwable due to it's low glare display.
Premium Members Jay Kim Posted May 4, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 It seems like you pay 7000 Yen for 1 day rental not 70,000 Yen. It is actually $67. Check this link. http://www.videoservice.tv/new.htm Price I found in Japan is around 554,400 yen which is actually $5294. Thanks, Jay Kim
