I fabricated a new cable and all seemed well. Dan at preston offered a loner but I felt the issue was resolved. He initially looked the unit over and couldn't recreate the problem. He didn't have my fautly cable. The issue still persists. The motors freeze intermittenly. Even when standing next to camera with the controller. I have a MDR-1 with the most recent software upgrades. I've recelled a hand unit battery. I'm using a Pro II Sled with M-1 motors. I'm using the smaller pill antennas. I tried the standard antennas with not luck. Dan also mentioned potential wireless internet interference. I've rulled that out as well in almost every location.
